This Refund Policy explains when Megahostindia Web Solutions (MEGAHOSTINDIA Web Solutions) refunds payments for services bought through megahostindia.in. This Refund Policy is a Customer Product Agreement Extension under the Customer Master Agreement. For hosting orders, it applies in place of the non-refundable fee terms in Section 9(2) and Appendix C of the Customer Master Agreement, as permitted by Section 2(2) of that Agreement.
30-Day Money-Back Guarantee on Hosting
The first hosting order placed by a new customer account is eligible for a full refund of the hosting fee if you cancel within 30 days of the order date.
- The guarantee applies only to the first hosting order from a new customer account. It does not apply to renewals, upgrades, or additional hosting orders from existing accounts.
- It covers the hosting fee only. Domains, SSL certificates and other add-ons in the same order are not refunded.
- If your hosting plan included a free domain, the standard registration fee for that domain is deducted from the refund. The domain remains registered in your name.
What Is Not Refundable
- Hosting renewals
- Hosting upgrades, and additional hosting orders from existing customer accounts
- Hosting cancelled more than 30 days after the order date
- Domain registrations, renewals and transfers, as they are processed with the registry immediately
- Domain privacy protection and other domain add-ons
- SSL certificates, once requested or issued
- Other add-on products and services
- Services suspended or terminated for violating our Terms and Conditions or acceptable use rules
- Orders where a chargeback or payment dispute has been raised
Cancelling After 30 Days
You can cancel any service at any time from your client area. After the 30-day window, the service stays active until the end of the period you have paid for, and no refund is given for the unused time.
How to Request a Refund
- Log in to your client area and open a support ticket with the Billing department.
- Include your invoice number and the service you want cancelled.
- Submit the request within 30 days of the order date.
We will confirm whether your request is eligible by replying to your ticket.
How Refunds Are Paid
- Approved refunds are paid to the original payment method, in the currency you paid in.
- Refunds are usually initiated within 7 business days of approval. Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to credit your account.
- On request, we can add the refund to your client area account as credit instead.
- For GST-registered invoices, we issue a credit note for the refunded amount.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The version in force on the date of your order applies to that order.
